Referees are an intregal part of the game. They use their judgement and knowledge of the sport to give both teams an equal opportunity to compete based on individual skill and teamwork. They enforce the rules and provide the younger players with real time instruction. For older players the referees control the tempo of the game and promote good sportsmanship.

At LYSA we look for referees who fully understand the rules of soccer and know how to use that knowledge to create a fair and fun game for all.
